Galena Materials and Interlibrary Loan

The Galena Public Library is a member of the Prairie Area Library System(PALS), created in 2004 by the merger of NILS with two other library systems in Illinois. The Statewide Illinois Library Catalog (SILC) contains titles of materials owned by all PALS member libraries.

On SILC you will also find the holdings of the Galena Public Library. Click on "Enter the Catalog" and select "Northwestern Illinois" in the "limit to" field. No password is required.

Galena Public Library staff can place interlibrary loan requests in several different databases. Some of these databases require a password for searching. Galena Library patrons may call or visit the library to obtain passwords or to request interlibrary loans.
